（一）负责市政府和市政府办公室的文电处理工作，草拟、审核、印发以市政府和市政府办公室名义发布的文件。
（二）负责市政府总值班工作，及时向市政府领导同志报告重要情况。
（三）负责市政府大型会议和重大活动的组织安排，指导、协调、督促市政府全市性（活动）会务工作。
（四）检查、督促市政府各项决议、决定、重要工作部署和市政府领导同志批示的贯彻执行、落实情况。
（五）统筹推进政府职能转变、“放管服”改革和行政审批制度改革工作。
（六）负责组织协调市政府重要工作和政策措施的宣传报道，收集、调研、整理、报送政府政务信息，负责市政府和市政府办公室信息公开、政务公开工作。
（七）负责组织协调、指导督促有关人大代表议案、建议和政协提案办理工作。
（八）协调市政府有关部门、中央和省属驻梅有关单位、驻军等关系，对有关问题提出处理意见。
（九）组织开展调查研究，为市政府领导同志提供决策参考。
（十）完成市委、市政府交办的其他任务。
