为了改进政府行政管理方式，优化经济发展环境，方便群众办事：中共衡阳雁峰区委、雁峰区人民政府批准成立雁峰区政务服务中心 。
衡阳市雁峰区政务大厅提质改造在信息化设备上进行全面升级，使用了最新的“智能秒批”系统、大数据分析系统、RPA（机器人流程自动化）技术等，有效提升了企业群众办事效率，强化大厅管理运行水平。提质改造后的政务大厅两层及办公区域面积达2000余平方米，设立办事窗口60个，全区27个职能部门进驻政务服务大厅，进驻行政审批事项达405项。
